Handheld 3D scanner instructions

Hualang 3D introduced the handheld 3D scanner Holon-3DH-3M (2013 edition). The user only needs to pick up the 3D scanner to aim at the scanned object, and slowly change the direction and position of the scanner to obtain the 3D data of the object. It is mainly used for trials, such as interior fittings, where it is inconvenient to use a fixed type 3D detector, and the need to simply acquire 3D shape data.

As a preparation before measurement, it is necessary to attach an optical mark (corner point) to the surface of the measurement object. The spacing and layout between the markers is such that the handheld 3D scanner can detect at least three at the same time. If it is not possible to attach a mark to the surface of the object, the object can be scanned on a table with an optical mark.

After attaching the mark, aim the handheld 3D scanner at the object and press the switch. The handheld 3D scanner emits a line laser, scans the object, and records the scanned 3D coordinates. Slowly change the relative position of the handheld 3D scanner and the object to obtain the data of the part of the object scanned by the laser. At this point, it is only necessary to make the handheld 3D scanner detect three optical markers at the same time, and maintain the distance between them at 30cm.

The mass of the device is 0.85kg and the external dimensions are 260x80x40 mm. The resolution in the Z direction is 0.10 mm. Complete sets of equipment include handheld 3D scanners, cables, application software and optical markers (1000), instrument cases, and mobile power. The user has his own computer.
